Atlanta, GA – Carroll Organization, one of the country’s leading privately-held real estate companies focused on multifamily investment, management, and development has named Jamie Scott as Chief Financial Officer. In this capacity, Ms. Scott will be a part of the senior management team to help guide the organization’s overall corporate mission and strategy. Additionally, she will be directly responsible for all aspects of the accounting department including corporate, property and fund accounting, annual budgeting, and managing the annual tax and audit process for the company. She will also work closely with the President/COO to oversee the human resources and IT functions.

Most recently, Ms. Scott served as Vice President and Controller for T5 Data Centers. In her time at T5, she oversaw financial statement preparation, tax reporting, financial modeling, budgeting, cash management and investor reporting for 20 legal entities. Before her tenure at T5, she spent a number of years at Morgan Stanley on the team overseeing a $4.2 billion private equity fund, as well as time with Ernst & Young LLP in the firm’s assurance/advisory business. Ms. Scott obtained both her master’s and bachelor’s degrees in accounting from Baylor University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and is also a licensed CPA.
