Michael Patrick Joins Prominent Multifamily Investor/Manager as Vice President of Capital Markets

 

Atlanta, GA — Carroll Organization, one of the country's leading privately-held real estate companies focused on multifamily investment, management, and development has named Michael Patrick as Vice President of Capital Markets. In this capacity, Mr. Patrick is responsible for the company's fund management platform, in coordination with Carroll Organization's CEO, M. Patrick Carroll.

Prior to joining Carroll, Mr. Patrick served as an Investment Advisor for Goldman Sachs in the firm's Investment Management Division.  His team managed over $700 million in client assets and focused on institutions, endowments, family offices and high net worth pools of capital. He also advised clients on strategic asset allocation, portfolio construction, risk management, and manager selection. Before his tenure at Goldman Sachs, Mr. Patrick was head of business development for Anasteel and Supply Company LLC. In this role, he led the team responsible for business development strategy, including marketing, prospect identification, estimate scheduling, pricing decisions, contract negotiations, and managing relationships with general contractors.

 

Mr. Patrick earned a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Bachelor in Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Georgia, where he played basketball for the Georgia Bulldogs.  He is active in the state and local community; he is a graduate of Leadership Georgia (Class of 2013) and Leadership Buckhead (Class of 2012).  In addition, he serves on UGA's Terry College of Business Young Alumni Board and coaches youth basketball.
